Lynne is married to Richard, and lives at Foxton Beach, having formerly resided in Levin since 1987. Before being elected to Horizons Regional Council last year, Lynne was a Horowhenua District Councillor for nine years. Lynne is currently working towards becoming an accredited RMA hearing commissioner as well as studying extramurally at Victoria University.
