Meetings

Meetings of the Horizons Regional Council are usually held in the Tararua Room at Regional House, 11-15 Victoria Avenue, Palmerston North. They are mainly held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and occasionally on Mondays. Times and venues are always published in local papers, listed on the front of each Agenda and available on the 2018 annual meeting schedule .

To access a meeting Agenda, Minutes, and/or individual reports, click on the appropriate meeting in the calendar, or on the relevant Committee from the drop down menu. The Agendas and Reports are provided in PDF format.

If Council resolves to release all or part of the confidential minutes of any meeting, they will be attached as an annex to the minutes on the website.

Public Forums/Deputations
If you wish to speak to Council this can be done either through a Public Forum (on general matters) or through a Deputation (specific to items on the agenda). Requests can be made by contacting the Committee secretary on 0508 800 800, by 12 noon on the working day before the meeting.
