During the 2009-2019 Community Plan process Council determined that, under the current economic climate, we will not be offering the Don Linklater Memorial Bursary. This change will remain active for 2009-2011 and then will be revisited.
Applications are now open for our two Sustainable Land Use Scholarships, offered to students studying at Massey University, Palmerston North, in the areas of soil science and farm management.
Our Sustainable Land Use Initiative (SLUI) Scholarship for Years One and Two is for full time students entering their first and second years of study, who want to study soil science and farm management as part of their undergraduate degree. The scholarship is for a maximum of $2000 over the duration of one year.

Our Sustainable Land Use (SLU) Advanced Scholarship for Year 3 and postgraduate students is for students specialising their 300-level and postgraduate study in soil science, land use mapping, and land management. The scholarship is for a maximum of $10,000 over the course of one year.
