Introduction

Manawatū-Whanganui Regional Council - Regulatory Team (MWRC) have received a consent application to discharge wastewater and slurry wastes into and onto land as generated from the Crusader Meats Meat Processing Plant, 798, 970 and 979 SH 30, Benneydale.

Application details

This application is to renew a resource consent which authorises the discharge of up to 1,500 m3/day of wastewater and slurry waste from processing and ancillary activities to land in circumstances that may result in contaminants entering groundwater on land located off SH 30, Benneydale.

Term: A term of 29 years is sought. This application replaces Resource Consent Nos. 100696 and 100926 which expired on 22 May 2016.
