A final declaration of results is expected to be ready later next week.” Horizons Regional Council is made up of 14 councillors from eight constituencies, including one from Raki Māori, one from Tonga Māori, two from Whanganui, two from Manawatū-Rangitīkei, two from Horowhenua, four from Palmerston North, one from Tararua, and one from Ruapehu. “Nikki Riley (Ruapehu) and Te Kenehi Teira (Tonga Māori) were elected unopposed in their respective constituencies,” says Mr Lampp. Preliminary results can be viewed here.
