Consultation for the 2018-28 Long-term Plan

Horizons are consulting on our 2018-28 Long-term Plan (LTP) from 28 March to 30 April. The LTP sets out how we plan on managing the Region’s natural resources for the next 10 years. This includes identifying the activities we propose to deliver and what rate contributions will be required to help cover the estimated costs for each year.

Our consultation document is available below to download, and highlights what we believe are the most significant issues addressed in the more comprehensive supporting document also available below. In addition to this material, there are factsheets available below that address a number of changes in the river management area. These factsheets have been sent to some households and will be available at all community meetings held to discuss the proposals.
