Aerial spraying for Rangitīkei River scheme

Aerial spraying of vegetation of selected gravel beaches along the Rangitīkei River will be carried out between 1 February and 30 March 2024. 

This notice of aerial spraying is for river users and owners adjacent to the Rangitīkei River from Parewanui No. 2 Drain (south of Scott's Ferry) to Rangitīkei Valley Road, Rewa.

Notification by way of letter will be sent to all affected parties prior to the commencement of spraying.
