Horizons exclude flood protection scheme in draft Long Term Plan
Horizons councillors yesterday voted to exclude provision
for further Stage 2 (Putiki and Anzac Parade) and Stage 3
(Moutoa frontage and Taupo Quay) flood protection works in
Wanganui, from the draft 2012-22 Long Term Plan. It was
however proposed to further assess alternative flood
management methods, in six years, with a view to reducing
