Community Shuttle Services

Horizons Regional Council supports the following services for the public making their way to medical appointments.
 

Horowhenua District

Foxton Beach Community Centre Van​

• This van transports people to appoints in Levin, Foxton, etc for primarily medical appointments.

Horowhenua Health Shuttle

Transport to medical appointments from the Horowhenua Health Shuttle to Palmerston North. The service will transport passengers for a donation made to the Horowhenua District Health Transportation Trust.
Phone (06) 366 0920 to arrange bookings and for further information.

 

Manawatū District

Rural Bus Manawatū 

• Van seating for 11 along with a luggage trailer to transport mobility aids and purchases made in Feilding.
• Up to four people can travel from the same pick-up address and pay only one fare.
• Variable pricing depending on where you live in Manawatū.

• No set fee, a koha or donation is appreciated
• Operates Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)

Tararua District

Hato Hone St John Health Shuttle – Dannevirke

• No set fee, a koha or donation is appreciated
• Operates Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)

Taumarunui Mobility Van

• Wheelchair accessible.
• Monday to Friday service.

• Donation from users is encouraged.
