Horizons Regional Council supports the following services for the public making their way to medical appointments.

Horowhenua District

Foxton Beach Community Centre Van

This van transports people to appoints in Levin, Foxton, etc for primarily medical appointments.

Horowhenua Health Shuttle

Transport to medical appointments from the Horowhenua Health Shuttle to Palmerston North. The service will transport passengers for a donation made to the Horowhenua District Health Transportation Trust.

Manawatu District

St John Feilding Service

Transport for disabled people.

Wheelchair accessible.

Transport for people who live in Whanganui to ALL medical appointments in Palmerston North - not restricted to hospital appointments.

Bookings should be made at least 24 hours before your appointment
Book by 1.30pm the day before service is required

South Tararua Health Shuttle

Operates between Pahiatua and the Palmerston North hospital
