Regional Pest Management Plan
Pest management is a joint effort between the regional councils, their communities and a host of other agencies that have a role in managing the effects of pests on economic and environmental values. In recognition of our regional leadership role under the Biosecurity Act 1993, Horizons is the management agency for the Regional Pest Management Plan 2017-2037.
Horizons' implementation of the Regional Pest Management Plan is primarily through our Pest Plant and Pest Animal teams.
