This application has been received from Winstone Pulp International Limited (WPI)

The application seeks consent to enable the existing discharge from the site to continue.  No change from the existing discharge locations, or quality limits is proposed.  The volume to be discharged is a decrease to that previously consented. The discharge includes:

  • The discharge of up to 4,000 m³/day of treated wastewater and stormwater to the Whangaehu River. 

The site is located at 1002, State Highway 49, Ohakune. 

The Applicant is seeking a consent term of five-years.
