Plant In Our Region

With the arrival of June it’s no longer #winteriscoming - instead winter is here.

Did you know that every winter Horizons, with the help of community groups, Iwi and landowners, plant hundreds of thousands of trees across the region? Well this year we’re going to tell you all about it as part of our #plantinourregion campaign. We really want to share with you how planting the right tree, in the right place, for the right purpose benefits the environment and our communities. This includes discussing why we plant where we do, what teams are involved, and what targets we’re working towards.

The majority of this information will be shared through our Facebook page however we will include relevant information here – such as competition details.
